Melissa Preston is a young widow trying to help her four-year-old daughter, Cora, cope with her father's death. Cora's nightmares and heartbreaking questions leave Melissa struggling with her own questions. Will a mother's love be enough to help her through? Melissa's search for answers not only helps with Cora's grief, but also consoles them during more of life's trials. In the end, it changes both their lives forever. About the Author Connie Boland Groves was born and raised in Baltimore County, Maryland, and lived there for forty-two years until she and her family moved to Pennsylvania in 1995. They moved to a farm where they raised cattle, pigs, and chickens and enjoyed their horses, rabbits, and ducks as well as numerous dogs and cats. She began writing as a hobby in junior high school, and her interest in writing followed her into adulthood. Connie worked in healthcare for twenty-one years at a nursing home in Gettysburg. She has been married for forty-three years to her husband, Ron, and they have three sons, five grandsons, and a great-granddaughter. They reside in Orrtanna, Pennsylvania, which is just outside of Gettysburg, and where most of this story takes place.
