Physical distribution and Customer satisfaction in fast moving consumer goods sector has been recognized as a source of competitive advantage. As it becomes more difficult for companies to compete on pure product level, creative companies are intensifying their physical distribution activities to gain a competitive edge. Previous authors commonly focused on physical distribution activities without integrating them into the Marketing mix strategy.
