This study was written to encourage the ordinary person to pursue a deeper walk with the Lord. It is intended to be done alone, with a friend, or in a group. The contents are written from the heart and based on the values presented in the children's primer Storybook Treasury of Dick and Jane and Friends. Addison Wesley Educational Publishers, Inc. This study originated when my pastor, at that time, asked me to lead a women's Bible study and we couldn't find anything we wanted to study. I wrote this study for that purpose. This year, for Lent, I fasted the games I was playing in order to keep my mind sharp. I asked the Lord how to keep my mind sharp, and He impressed me to write this study as a book.
