Carolyn Bredsteen was raised in Los Altos, California. A town in the San Francisco Bay Area. She graduated from Arizona State University with a BFA in Environmental Design. She has her own commercial and residential interior design firm, Design Works II. Her greatest love has always been illustration and painting. Inspired by her favorite childhood fairytale picture book; she was encouraged to write and illustrate Fairyland: A Tale of Friendship; taking children to a magical land, inspiring their imagination.
