The cardiac MRI segmentation problem, precisely the segmentation of the right and left ventricles is known for many years ago. Unlike the left ventricle, the right ventricle is difficult to be segmented cause of its not uniformed shape in addition to the fineness of the endocard (internal heart muscle). The segmentation of the cardiac MRI was achieved by the work of (BEN HAMADOU, 2007) by using an evidential model called credal filter (ZHANG, 2006), in our work; we have proposed the two evidential Markovian models basing on the credal filter. the proposed models have enhanced the segmentation…mehr

The segmentation of the cardiac MRI was achieved by the work of (BEN HAMADOU, 2007) by using an evidential model called credal filter (ZHANG, 2006), in our work; we have proposed the two evidential Markovian models basing on the credal filter. the proposed models have enhanced the segmentation results obtained by the credal filter by its reducing the smoothing effect of the credal filter. The proposed approaches have been tested and validated on a corpus of eighteen Cardiac MRI examinations for four patients.
