Paul S. George is resident historian of the HistoryMiami Museum and is a retired professor from Miami-Dade College. He holds a doctorate in history and has authored two earlier books in Arcadia's Images of America series. In partnership with Dr. George, Casey Piket is a blogger, podcaster, and documentarian on South Florida history. Images used in Miami's Brickell Avenue Neighborhood were provided by both authors, the HistoryMiami Museum, Miami-Dade Public Library, Larry Wiggins, and the State Archives of Florida.
