Autorenporträt
Cecelia was born and raised on Shelter Island, New York. She attended Shelter Island Union Free School and graduated from there completing Kindergarten through 12th grade in the same building. Going on to Roosevelt Hospital School of Nursing, she graduated as an R.N. in 1968. Later returning to College and achieving a B.S.P.A. at St Joseph's College, Standish, Me., a B.S.L. through Logos Bible College, and M. Div. through Living Water Bible College and School of Theology. She is currently enrolled in Doctoral studies at Heart of America Bible College and Theological Seminary where she plans to graduate in 2018 with a Doctorate in Biblical Psychology. Most important of all she came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ in 1972 and has been serving the Lord ever since. There have been setbacks and challenges but God has been faithful. Her greatest comfort is the promise that "God is faithful to complete every good work which He has begun in us.". Cecelia now lives in Florida and is an ordained minister under the covering of Kingsway Fellowship International. She is the founder and CEO of Lighthouse of Hope for the Nation, Inc. and continues to minister as called to the nations, including America. She lives with her husband of 16 years, Ronald Revitz and their rescue dogs and cats, horses and a donkey. Her mission in life is to be a rescuer of those who need Jesus and a Mother to those who need to be mothered into the Kingdom of God. Loving the broken and nurturing is her hearts desire, so that all will know how great is God's love for them. She is available to speak and or preach when invited and will travel to the nations as called. This year, in obedience to God's call, she promoted a Tent Revival Meeting in Weirsdale, Fl. where she lives to reach the local community. She is now preparing to spend all of December in Africa visiting and sharing the Gospel of Jesus with the souls in Uganda, Malawi and Rwanda. She attends two churches regularly. Life Church Assembly of God, where she is a member, has become a new and loving home church to her where the Spirit of God is moving in a great and wonderful way. Also, Life Church in Eustis, Florida which is a Kingsway church is very close to her heart and she is able to be there weekly unless called out to minister. God is so faithful and the support of these churches, as well as the support of her ministry board and family, make all things possible as God provides. Cecelia has continued nursing in a semi-retired way and works as a hospice triage nurse on a fairly regular basis. This is also a ministry in her eyes, helping patients and families during a difficult time in their lives. Cecelia never had children of her own but has many spiritual sons and daughters. She has moved in the spirit of adoption most of her walk with God. Many of these children are grown and still look to her as Mom and they have given her beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loves, and thrives on giving her loving attention to whenever able. God is good and He created us to be His family so it is a natural thing for us to be family to one another as we were created in His image. That is the theme of Cecelia's life.
