Autorenporträt
A seasoned educator having experience in curriculum development, peer coaching, effective classroom control techniques, observation (both formal and informal), grant writing, and classroom instruction. All of these skills were learned, implemented and refined over a period of thirty-four years in public education. During my career I was also fortunate to be elected president of my county education association, committee chairperson for a state committee that reviewed and selected "Principal of The Year" in my home state of New Jersey, commissioner of my athletic conference, and presented a position paper on "Student Retention" at a national education conference in Washington, D.C. I've been married to my high school sweetheart (Judy) for thirty-seven years. We have two children, our son Jeff is a career militry man serving in the U.S. Army as a Special Forces Ranger. Jeff is married to his college sweetheart Lisa. Our daughter Jessie is a 7th grade English teacher and is finishing up he last year of graduate school where she is earning a degree in administrative leadership. My wife Judy was a nurse for several years and then entered the teaching profession as a second grade teacher. Judy and I live in the quiet little town of Runnemede, New Jersey, located 15 miles south of Philadelphia, PA. We enjoy reading, gardening, the theater, and traveling when we have the time.
