Autorenporträt
Dr. Michael Moyer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). He received his Master's in Counseling and Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. While at UTSA, Dr. Moyer has taught various courses, however most often enjoys teaching courses in ethics, practicum, and development of counseling skills. Some of Dr. Moyer's primary research interests include ethical decision making, non-suicidal self-injury, & school counselor education. In addition to his teaching and research at UTSA, Dr. Moyer maintains a small private practice in San Antonio and specializes in working with individuals who self-injure. Outside of work, Dr. Moyer enjoys exercising, being outside and spending time with his wife, Alyson and three daughters Quentin, Delilah and Emmeline.
