Charles Ricciardi began drawing comics in elementary school, and eventually went on to study filmmaking & screenwriting at The Tisch School of the Arts, earning both his B.F.A. and M.A. at New York University. Charles has a full resume of writing, producing and directing credits, including a documentary feature film which he produced about legendary artist Drew Struzan, creator of the "Indiana Jones," "Muppet," "Back To The Future," and "Star Wars"movie posters. Through that filmmaking experience, Charles became inspired to draw again and transformed one of his feature film screenplays, "Billy The Horrible," into this unusual anti-bullying tale. Charles has also authored "The Great Appalachian Trail Race," an exciting story adapted from one of his screenplays. This thought-provoking novel is appropriate for young and old readers alike.
