This study empirical investigated the effects of national culture and safety culture on safety performance in the container shipping context. Scholarship: He got the Ph.D. Degree at the Department of Transportation and Communication Management Science, National Cheng-Kung University.Work Experience: He was a marine master and a manager of the shipping corporation. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Shipping Technology and the director of Merchantman Seafarers Training Center, NKMU. His research interests are in the area of transportation management, organizational culture and human behavior.
