Chris Sagona has been a reporter and an editor, and has also served as a trustee of the Pascack Valley History Project. For her work with local newspapers and magazines, she has received the New Jersey Society of Professional Journalists Award for Distinguished Public Service in Journalism and Best Feature Writing, as well as the New Jersey Press Award for First Amendment Writing. For Park Ridge, she has borrowed stunning images from generous community members, police and fire officials, and houses of worships. By combining these images with narrative, she has created a stirring tribute to the town and its people.
