Christina Alva is a lead data analytics developer and supervisor for a large think tank company in the Washington, D.C. area. As a supervisor, she assists in hiring and developing new recruits. She is the CEO of Amazing Books, LLC, and a board member of the non-profit organization Coders Who Travel whose goal is to give back to the community by providing technical assistance and training to help others succeed in the programming industry. Aside from work, Christina loves writing, dancing, playing video games, and hanging out with friends and family. Christina co-authored Beyond the Job Description with her best friend and sister, Camille Marbury, because she is passionate about helping new professionals succeed in the workplace. Camille Marbury is a senior auditor for one of the world's largest publicly traded communications companies headquartered in Texas. Camille is a certified life coach and has held numerous volunteer positions, including the roles of chair and president, for various nonprofit organizations. In her spare time, Camille enjoys mentoring, dancing, writing, singing, watching movies, traveling, meeting new people, spending time with family and friends, and encouraging others. Camille continues to enjoy journeying through life, especially with her lifetime friend and sister, Christina Alva, co-author of Beyond the Job Description.
