The empirical study is based on comprehensive quantitative data and case study material about Asian IPOs of multinational companies in the electronics industry.

The Author: Christian Carduck, born in 1970, Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur, studied mechanical engineering and business administration at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. During his doctoral studies, he worked as a research assistant at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and in an international procurement office in Singapore. Since 1999, he works in the purchasing department of BMW in Munich, Germany.
