Christian Guerrier is a native of Haiti and an American pioneer. In 2009, he founded the Millennials Project to help end every form of violence against women and advocate for girls education in the developing world. He formed a partnership with Miami-Dade County in 2014, to lead and engage men in the gender-based violence prevention conversation. In 2016, he became the first man appointed to serve on Miami's Commission of the Status of Women; for freeing women based in Miami from domestic violence and sexual assault. Months later, he was invited by the Obama Administration to attend the historic launching of the United States of Women Summit in Washington, DC. His mission now is to recruit 60 million men to help make the world more just and equitable for women and girls. This book is a story of self-discovery from boyhood to manhood, and from hailing from one of the worst slums in Port-Au-Prince to becoming a pioneer in one of the most prosperous cities in the world. Join Guerrier in this journey of truth, healing, and reconciliation through the history of the first two independent nations of the New World. Guerrier now lives in Miami with a baby turtle and hosts weekly healing circles for those traveling on the 'Black' and 'Red' roads. You can follow him on Instagram @Pitit1804.
