December 2022, I was sitting in my office making some REALLY big plans. Then a gentle thought crossed my mind; start a FB group and memorize a verse a week together. Within minutes I created the page and posted about it. And those REALLY big plans dissolved in the background. So, I asked the Lord to guide me, and I began writing. This is the fruit of weekly walking with the Lord and writing from a place of transparency, honesty, and a desire to honor the full context of scripture. My writing style is conversational so read it like you are hearing from a friend who is growing, struggling, and wanting to honor the Lord with her life. Why? >How to use the book: The book is divided into seasons. You don't have to start at the beginning of the book, but flip through and pick up in whatever season of the year we're currently in. Each week there will be a new verse to memorize and a devotion. You have this book now because you have a desire to memorize verses. This journey is also not about legalism. Don't give up if you go a few weeks without memorizing. Pick back up and know that every verse you memorize is one more than knew a week before. Enjoy the journey!
