Christopher Bussard is a man who seems to have it all together. A professional firefighter with deep ties to his community, he's living the Colorado life that most people want with a beautiful family, a great home adjacent to coveted open space, good friends, and plenty of time enjoying the great outdoors. But there's a problem. He can barely enjoy a minute of it as he goes the distance in his lifelong battle with depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. This book is Bussard's testimony of what it means to struggle well. Written with great empathy for those who face similar hardships, he is bracingly honest about the people, the memories, and the lessons that have shaped him and kept him in The Fight.
