Chris Uzzi is the founder of Veterans Listening Post (VLP), a national veterans support organization and certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. Uzzi served in the Vietnam War, where he earned two Bronze Stars. He has also received a US Combat Infantryman Badge and a New York State Conspicuous Service award. His is a Certified Veterans Recovery Peer Specialist, attended the Wainwright Institute of Professional Coaching, and became a drug and alcohol treatment specialist through the Stratford Career Institute. Uzzi is currently the director of VLP infrastructure and coaches though www.veteranslifecoaches.com using the life improvement service method. He cochairs the Wounded Warriors of South Florida annual fundraising project. He also directs the veterans activity program Pickleball for All, instructs in public speaking at Florida Gulf Coast University, and acts as counselor for the Jobless Warrior program.
