Growing up in Louisiana, her mother taught her how to design and create her own clothing and accessories, an interest that has been a major part of her life. Christy attended the Art Institute of California ? San Francisco where she studied Fashion Marketing and Management and went on to become a beauty publicist in Manhattan. Christy's love for design, creativity and fresh flowers led her to begin CrownsbyChristy.com, her own custom flower crown company.
