CJ Katz is a food writer and documentary food photographer based in Saskatchewan. She has been actively involved in the local food scene in Saskatchewan for nearly ten years. Her focus is on telling the story behind the food: where it comes from, who grows it, and who cooks it. In addition to writing and photograhpy, CJ is the culinary host of The Wheatland Cafe on CTV. She is also the Senior Saskatchewan Judge for Gold Medal Plates, and the Saskatchewan judge for the Canadian Culinary Championships. She has written for enRoute, Wine Access, the National Post, the Regina Leader-Post, the Saskatoon Star Phoenix, Tourism Saskatchewan, and Flavours Magazine. She has been a contributing editor to Good Morning Canada and a regular columnist on CBC Radio One's Morning Edition. CJ lives in Regina with her husband and two sons.
