The HIV and AIDS is a world wide problem that has caused untold suffering to humankind.The world is grappling with the pandemic to reduce its prevalence and a number of strategies have been adopted.One of the intervention measures Zimbabwe has adopted is the teaching of HIV and AIDS from Grade 4 to tertiary level.The books explores challenges that are encountered in implementing the HIV and AIDS curriculum and the possible solutions to the challenges.Teachers' qualifications to teach HIV and AIDS , teachers' and learners' attitudes towards the subject, procurement of teaching and learning resources and the frequency of teaching HIV and AIDS are some of the challenges that received attention in this book.Solutions to the challenges were also highlighted.The book is likely to be of immense value to a number of stakeholders inter-alia the Ministries of Education , Sport and Cultture in various countries, school heads, teachers and pupils.
