Patrick Scott enjoys the way a nice piece of rested meat slices. It's because he cooks, not anything too dark. He allows his spirit of competition to come forth when playing cutthroat games of Splendor and Ticket to Ride and the ever-challenging Ticket to Ride Europe. He's told stories for a long time, is never without a notebook and is known to drop out of conversation when something magical captures his heart and mind. Patrick published his debut novel, Big Beasts, in 2020. Lisa Diane Kastner, Publisher and CEO of Running Wild, LLC which consists of Running Wild Press where they publish great stories that don't fit neatly in a box and RIZE Press where they publish great genre stories written by people of color and other underrepresented groups. Running Wild has been honored with two best of 2019 and two best of 2020 books according to Kirkus Reviews as well as several starred reviews and additional acclaim. Dr. Neepa Sarkar's collaborative monograph will be soon published by IBIDEM Press. She has a Ph. D in English Literature and has taught in the Department of English, Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru and has been published in History Today, Middle West Review, Irish Studies Review, The Confidential Clerk, Mejo Journal, Journal of Literature and Aesthetics, Glocal Colloquies, De Gruyter Press and Lexington Books, Within and Without Magazine, Curious Blue Press, Shot Glass Journal ( Muse-pie Press- Jan 2024), Wingless Dreamer Publications. Scott Chaddon was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska where the arctic winters tended to keep everyone indoors. He chose art, role playing games, and reading as his escapes from the harsh weather. Ultimately he began writing so he could share his thoughts, ideas, and worlds with others. He holds a degree in Art from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks and several certificates in creative writing from the University of Iowa. Katie Ness is a published poet with Hecate Magazine, Mulberry Literary, The C Word Magazine, Beyond the Veil Press, Poetry Cove and others. Her essays, articles and magickal musings feature in Femme Occulte, Witches Magazine, Kindred Spirit Magazine, Witchology, and more. She has two poetry books published, the first is Aphrodite Fever Dream published with Undressed Society Press and Juggernaut published with DarkThirtyPoetry Press. Cris Morris lives in Houston, TX. By day, he is absorbed in writing computer software. In his free time, he writes horror involving monsters. Ben White is the author of The Buddha Bastinado Blues, The Kill Gene, Conley Bottom: A Poemoir, The Recon Trilogy +1, Say Their Names (Under Anonymous), and Always Ready: Poems from a Life in the US Coast Guard. He also has had short stories, essays, and poems published in various journals. However, he has lived in the world of Cure as Kali Metis' editor. Dr. Raymond is a Family and Emergency Physician. He practiced in eight countries in four languages. Currently living in Austria with his wife. When not volunteering his practice skills, he is writing, lecturing, or scuba diving. In 2008, he discovered the wreck of a Bulgarian freighter in the Black Sea. He has multiple medical citations, along with publications in Flash Fiction Magazine, The Grief Diaries, The Examined Life Journal, The Satirist, Chicago Literati, Blood Moon Rising, Saddlebag Dispatches, and Utopia Science Fiction magazine. Jerry Purdon writes dark fantasy and horror stories. Earlier works include " Bottom Drawer", " Beer in a Bar" and " Graveyard Game" . " Monster" is due out in the summer of 2025 in an annual short story anthology due by Running Wild Press. Jerry spends a fair amount of time grilling and loves a great bowl of chili. His favorite activity is to sit outdoors engrossed in a great book. He holds a B.A. in Literature from University of Houston - Clear Lake.
