Minister He is an ordained Presbyterian minister. Jack has served in large multi-staff churches as well as small rural churches. He is currently the minister at Resurrection Presbyterian in Petersburg, Michigan. It is a spiritually inclusive church. Therapist Jack has been a licensed therapist for 25 years and has had a private practice for 20 years. Areas of therapeutic emphasis have been juvenile delinquents, alcohol and drug addiction, and for the last 15 years surviving victims of sexual abuse, specifically incest. He developed the Co-Creative therapeutic style in which the therapist, client, and his experience of reality in the moment is utilized in developing the client's spiritual cosmology. Pipecarrier Jack has been the pipecarrier for the People of the Pipe Stem for 18 years. He leads both Pipe ceremonies and sweat lodges at Bear Creek Farm Bear Creek Farm is a 50 acre farm near Azalia, Michigan. Jack has lived there with his wife, Donna, for 25 years. They raise burros, llamas, sheep as well as numerous dogs and cats. Bear Creek Farm, in addition to being an informal animal shelter, is also the Center for Co-Creative Therapy. As a healer, Jack has searched all his adult life to find a process by which people can heal "themselves." He believes that healing must be developmental affecting body, mind, and spirit. The process he teaches emerged out of his journey as a pathfinder for his people and himself.
