Autorenporträt
Ride the Black Hills is Cynthia Sowden's third motorcycle travel book. Although they got into motorcycles just ten years ago, Sowden and her husband, Ralph, have ridden their 2002 Victory Deluxe Touring Cruiser along Rte. 66 to the Grand Canyon, followed the Mississippi River from its source to New Orleans, and ridden all over Minnesota. They made their trip to the Black Hills in the spring of 2016. A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Cynthia is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Journalism and Mass Communications. She worked in corporate communications, advertising, and public relations for more than 30 years. Ralph is an electrical engineer, working in the semi-conductor industry. They both look forward to spending more time riding when they retire.
