Autorenporträt
Adrian Buerki trained as a civil engineer, where he made his first contact with computers. Shortly afterwards, he chose to change field and to study Computer Science. In the early stages of his professional life he developed Software for the technical industry in the United States and in Switzerland. As time drew on he slipped into the financial and insurance sector, and now develops solutions in what is commonly known as Java EE. If time allows he runs and rides his motorbike every now and then. He has used the GWT pretty much since day one when Google made it available.

Marcel Lanz is a software engineer from Switzerland with his roots in Smalltalk. When he discovered that processors and operating systems don't know anything about objects and messages, he moved professionally into the fields of GNU/Linux Kernel hacking and embedded device development with Assembler and C++. These days he develops Java EE software in the insurance enterprise sector. As Marcel was always thrilled by massive dynamic systems he became a passionate Python and Ruby-hacker and discovered the world of "Ruby on Rails", GWT and OS X in his non-professional life. Whenever the weather's warm, he enjoys riding his motorcycle in the Swiss Alps to get new inspiration.
