Growing up in Wayne County Indiana in the 1940's and 50's I hunted, fished, and trapped many of the rivers, creeks, and woods in the area. I was inspired to write this exciting book about the many wonderful memories with my dad, HICKIE, an American Hero, and holder of the prestigious Carnegie Medal for Bravery, and an avid Sportsman. My father was an amazing individual, and has a story that needs to be told. I am currently retired and live in Richmond, Indiana, close to where I grew up.
