Amy LaBossiere is an acclaimed mixed media artist, writer, and marketing maven deeply invested in the arts. With her work exhibited in over 60 group showcases spanning Connecticut and New York, she's a recognized figure in the art world. Notably, her solo exhibition "Conscious Evolution: Reflections on a Master's Program" gained significant attention. Her recent accolade, the Juror's Award at the CT Women Artists Annual Juried Member Show, was bestowed for her piece "Sober Friends."Her memoir, "Finding Still Waters: The Art of Conscious Recovery," delves into her transformative journey towards recovery using creativity and mindfulness. The book was later complemented with an epilogue published this year.Amy's robust career boasts decades in communications, marketing, PR, acting, and hospitality. She holds a BFA from Long Island University, a Master of Arts from The Graduate Institute, and a Health Coaching Certificate from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition.Currently, Amy collaborates with the University of Hartford's Entrepreneurial & Women's Business Center. Alongside her husband, Tao, she steers the Art of Tao LaBossiere, focusing on public art. The duo also volunteers at Hartford ArtSpace Gallery. A devoted animal lover, Amy works with Dog Star Rescue and shares her home in Hartford with rescued cats, Emmett Fox and Claude Monet.
