Amalia Orozco Sandoval was born and raised in beautiful Southern California, the youngest of three children. When she isn't working as a Social worker by day, or writing by night, she enjoys spending time with her friends and large blended family. Amalia considers her faith, family and health to be most important to her and the driving force in her life. Moving from East Los Angeles to San Bernardino County in the late 80s, Amalia met her future husband and childhood sweetheart, Eddie. Most of the time, you will find them together working out at the gym, going on hikes, foodie crawls or traveling to new destinations across the country and globe. Refuse to Sink is Amalia's first Non-fiction book.
