Amalio Madueño lives in Taos, New Mexico. Long associated with the Taos Poetry Circus and Mexican Bob's Poetry Camp, he has published widely in journals across the United States and Europe. Recent anthologies featuring his work include The 3:15 Experiment (ed. Dinsmore & Alley, En Theos Press, Vancouver B.C., 2006), Wandering Hermit Review (Seattle, 2006) and Venus in the Badlands (ed. J. Macker, Santa Fe, N.M. 2006). Upcoming work will be found in: la Puerta, Taos the art of fetching Sky (ed. antoinette claypoole, Wild Embers, Ashland, Or. 2006), and Muse6 (ed. Literary Council, El Paso, Texas. 2006). Amalio performs his work regularly throughout New Mexico and the west coast in featured readings, seminars, television & radio, as well as on videos and CDs. Lost in the Chamiso is Amalio's first full-length book of poetry.
