Amber Dennison is a mother, nomad, serial starter, and dreamer who found herself on the self-publishing journey when she woke up with an idea for "Jack and His Mind" and a number of other stories featuring Jack that tackle issues that children face. Despite having no previous experience in writing or illustrating, Amber was determined to bring her stories to life in a unique and personal way.As a self-described creative, Amber decided to illustrate her book herself to ensure that she conveyed what she had imagined in her mind. She spent countless hours researching techniques and experimenting with different styles until she found the perfect fit for her story. Amber's journey as an accidental author and self-taught illustrator is a testament to her passion for storytelling and her willingness to take on new challenges. She is someone who is willing to take risks and learn new things no matter what, and she believes that her stories will resonate with others. Her biggest cheerleaders are her two sons who inspired her to write her first book, and she hopes to continue to inspire children and adults alike with her future stories.
