In Yemen, agriculture are economically very important, especially for local consumption as fresh fruits and vegetables or for industrial products and exportation purpose. The biodiversity of fungi associated with post-harvest decay of apple, orange, banana, mango and grape fruits was studied. Amira Ali Al-harethi from Yemen received Master degree in microbiology from Sana'a university and is currently teaching international science and Cambridge IGCSE Biology at oasis Yemeni School in Sana'a city. Her professional interests focus on preparing her PhD project in genetic engineering of fungi so she hope to find a chance to do it abroad.
