Despite its control in many countries, human brucellosis still remains a public health problem in other regions. This book explored various risk factors associated with brucellosis acquisition. Most of these variables are modifiable, and efforts should be focused on public health education regarding the disease and its risk factors, improvements in recognition and notification systems and active cooperation between health and veterinary ministries to reduce the incidence of the disease.
