In this regard, an important condition for sustainable development is to monitor the interaction between economy, nature and society on urbanized areas to realize the threats timely and taking measures of harmonization of natural and anthropogenic environment. However at present an effective mechanism to form the system of economic, ecological and social indicators and their integration in the resumptive indicator of urbanized area development does not exist. The monograph offers a universal method of estimating the areas state, irrespective of the level, scale, time and availability of baseline data. The presented method allows to increase the efficiency of the comparing areas, identifying the factors of the economy state, environment and society life that promotes decision-making to stabilize the situation and prevent negative impact on the area state.
