Anand Mahanand teaches English at the EFL University, Hyderabad, India. His publications include Tribal India in Fiction (2005), Tribal Folktales from Orissa (2009),Tribal Folktales from Southern Orissa (in press), English through Folktales(2011) and numerous research articles. He develops materials for teachers and learners of English.
