For twenty years, a tenant at the Hall was the renowned stained glass artist Carl Edwards. William Shand is a Past Master of both the Company of Barbers (2001-2) and the Society of Apothecaries (2004-5). He is a retired consultant surgeon of St Bartholomew's Hospital in the City of London and is an amateur artist in stained glass and watercolours.
