The Author: Andrews George Mekkattukunnel, born in 1964, is a Syrian Catholic priest from Palai, Kerala, India. He studied philosophy and theology at the Paurastya Vidyapitham, Kottayam, Kerala and obtained a licentiate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome and a doctorate in Biblical theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome.
