A joyful and realistic view of the transition to retirement that is anything but retiring. This book offers insights on changing jobs and aging and doesn't ignore the challenges that come with it. Here's a process to help you transition from full-time work to figure out who you want to be and what comes next after working all those 14 hour days! Andrea R. Huff provides a comprehensive and simple process that offers ten chapters, exercises and interviews with people now thriving in the third stage of life. She also includes many personal experiences she's had during her first retirement year. In this inspiring and entertaining book, Huff, an expert coach, and consultant who specializes in coaching people in the third stage of their lives give you a view of life after careers as being exciting and more fun than working for others. She transforms the idea that retirement and aging are things to dread, but rather the best years of your life and work. Huff uses design thinking, prototyping and paradox thinking to put a new spin on ways to discover who you're meant to be at this age. She also covers the downsides of aging, and how to turn change and adversity into an advantage. Every Night's Friday Night gives you the process and courage to embrace retirement and aging knowing the best is yet to come.

Her approach can be useful to people who are 40 as well as those who are 60.In her first book, Every Night's Friday Night, she takes a fresh look at these topics in a holistic and joyful way that offers new thinking and is easy to read. It's inspiring and doesn't gloss over the challenges. She also has what some would call a paradoxical approach that makes perfect sense.
