The present thesis book entitled "Studies on seed mycoflora of sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.)" In which all of the five seed health testing (SHT) methods employed were found efficient in the detection of sunflower seed mycoflora, in their order of merit as Blotter paper 2-4, D Agar plate Modified PDA Rolled towel paper. Among nine seed dressing fungicides evaluated in vitro at their recommended field dosages, cent per cent (100%) mycelial growth inhibition of Alternaria alternata and Fusarium oxysporum. Thus, seedborne pathogenic fungi of sunflower can be managed effectively by seed treatment with systemic or contact + systemic fungicides as well as with various Trichoderma spp. Hope this book must be helpful for reader to get useful information related to seed pathology of sunflower.

Dr. Ashutosh Chandrakant Patil, completed his B.Sc. (Agri.) from MPKV, Rahuri during 2014, M.Sc. and Ph.D. (Agri.) from VNMKV, Parbhani during 2017 & 2021. Also, awarded with ¿SARTHI¿ fellowship during his Doctoral studies. He has published eight research papers in NASS rated journals, thirteen abstracts, one book and thirteen popular articles.
