Callitris is a genus of coniferous trees in the Cupressaceae. There are 15 species in the genus, of which 13 are native to Australia and the other two (C. neocaledonica, C. sulcata) native to New Caledonia. The most widely used common name is cypress-pine. This study deals with Callitris wood oils from different species. A comparison between species from different collection areas was made. In the pharmacological part, assays were directed towards investigating the general anti-oxidant activity, cytotoxicity and the phagocytosis properties of the oils.
