Born in South Dakota at the foot of Mount Rushmore, raised in Texas and now living in Las Vegas, Nevada with her family and husband of 34 years, author and writer Angela Beck Kalnins calls herself, "stressed out, messed up and completely on the edge of losing my mind--just like every other person in America." Her Christian faith and belief in God keeps her grounded and "hanging on". The mother of three and grandmother to five uses humor, spirituality and profound confidence in Jesus to handle the "stresses and messes" in her life. Prayer and devotion to study are her tools; the Bible her foundation. "I'm real," she says, "I'm not perfect now and I never will be. But, I'm a child of God. That's good enough for me."
