The study examined the predictive abilities of organisational culture and work-life balance on career adaptability and internet addiction among employees in three research institutes in Ibadan. Issues of career adaptability and internet addiction are relatively new in industrial/organisational psychology with little studies on Nigeria. The study concluded that work-life balance of employees and organisational culture are critical issues in employees' career adaptability and their level of internet addiction. Individual characteristics of gender, educational attainment, career level are important factors to consider in career adaptability, most especially career control. It is therefore important for organisations to pay serious attention to the prevailing culture at workplaces, especially leadership, professionalism, communication and innovation; as well as work-life issues in order to protect employees against internet addiction and help them achieve stability in building successful career.
