Annelé Jeanette Shaw has lived in the USA since 1962, when she married a US Marine officer.

She is a retired physical fitness instructor. The Shaws has three children and two grandchildren. Two of their children live in the San Diego area. After leaving Denmark, she lived in London, England, and Paris, France, before coming to the USA.
