special focus on atrocity heritage will be provided,
in addition to an analysis of conflicts and
dissonances that are likely to occur within the
management and production process of atrocity
heritage. Moreover, a variety of case studies will
clarify the dissonance dilemma and will provide the
basis for the recommendations for dissonance
reduction and dissonance avoidance that will be
given. The case study of the seaside resort of the
20,000 once more, will illustrate the issue of
