Thus, this book could be of great importance for some reasons. First, it is an attempt in a new line of research which necessitates more investigations to clarify some of the ambiguities. Second, it is conducted through examinations which have been less addressed in the previous research. Third, it provides the reader with a good bulk of literature in this area of study.

Abbas Bagherian holds an M.A. degree in TEFL from Sheikhbahaee University, Isfahan, Iran. He teaches English part time at Mobarakeh Payame Noor University, Iran and some private English language institutes. His main areas of interest include language transfer and language teaching methodology.
