The book shows that system reliability is the most effective component where it has a direct impact on the system effectiveness value, and an indirect effect on the other two components (Availability, and Capability). Therefore, one may find that the improvement of the system reliability leads to the improvement of the system availability, system capability, and the overall system effectiveness. Accordingly, the author dealt in this work with the methods of reliability allocation, prediction, and mathematical expressions for the most common distributions. Also both simple and complex systems are tackled.
