Autorenporträt
A Gambian by birth in his mid-twenties, Muslim, born and brought up in a suburban settlement of urban Gambia. He is the seventh child of his parents with six older siblings: four brothers and two sisters. He however has a couple of other half siblings through his father. His political views and religious beliefs are liberal. Never having studied art at school or whatsoever, Abdou is an accountant by profession with a diploma in Accounting and Business but an art lover and poetry hobbyist to be specific. He has a fulltime job and also offers professional accounting and business advisory services to individuals and businesses. Always wanting to share his words, he is a regular blogger who started with just posting poetry on social media. With poetry being his way of life, all moments of his life are captured in different pieces and drawing inspiration from different aspects of life. This is the first book publication project that he has put together. Abdou Jallow was born and brought up in Wellingara, The Gambia. He is the seventh child of his parents with six older siblings, and seven half siblings through his father. He has a diploma in Accounting and Business, working fulltime as an accountant and also offering professional accounting and business advisory services to individuals and businesses. Alongside this, Abdou writes poetry: he is a lover of the Arts. Always wanting to share, he started a blog to showcase his art, capturing moments in different pieces as they manifest. This is the first book publication project that he has put together.
