Abdul Razzaq Al-Rubaie is a poet who is aware of time and follows its heavy shadows on places and people. His poem is divided according to what his vision casts on time. This is an advantage for him in his entire poetic production. But in this work, he resorts to contrast, paradox, and perhaps intersections and compatibility with what he projects on time as the driver of things and facts. It embodies the tragedy of man searching for his humanity and freedom. A unique poetry that captures the vibrations of what is around the poet and what is inside him, and incorporates them into extremely delicate artistic structures. Al-Rubaie uses his cultural encyclopedia to convey meaning, so his texts are full of signs, references, and symbols with intellectual reference that support the textual content, and are stimulated by the act of reading, drawing from that wealth and richness. This gives the texts a double life, and an aesthetic that is bestowed on them by the poetics of these intertexts, transcending intellectual isolation, or narrowing the horizon of the text. Just like the freedom of form and style in Al-Rubaie's poetic experiments.. Prof. Dr. Hatem Al-Sakr
