Based on the limitations on these traditional methods such as not being available for use all the time from anywhere, the amount of information that is provided by school to parents is argued to be insufficient. In addition to this, there are sometimes the high costs of communication. Therefore, addressing these issues requires finding an easy, simple and effective way to provide solution to the traditional communication means between parents and teachers, and one of the solutions is to develop school information system based on cloud computing. The aim of the book is to express information about mobile application for school information system using cloud computing. It provides communication means between school, parents and students in a more efficient manner and less costly compared to the traditional means or methods.

Assist.Prof.Dr. Nadire Cavus was born in 1972. She is a lecturer and the Deputy Chairman at the Department of Computer Information Systems at the Near East University in Cyprus. Her research interests are in the field of LMSs, programming languages, the development of virtual learning environment systems, and mobile technologies.
