Moreover, the application of GIS to assess the impacts of tsetse flies on agriculture, animal husbandry and the rural livelihoods in general is the major focus of this book.

Mr.Abera Uncha Utallo completed his MA degree in 2006 from department of Geography, Addis Ababa University. He is lecturer of geography and environmental studies at Arbaminch University, Ethiopia.He has a research experience on indigenous Knowledge and rural livelihood. Recently he is a PhD candidate at the university of south Africa.
