The various side effects of the conventional non-renewable fuel powered designs are numerous. Ranging from greenhouse effect to a broad list of health hazards it poses. Also, the cost incurred in powering a signage design in a remote site or areas that are characterized by erratic power supply is outrageous. This book presents the design, construction and installation of a Solar Powered Digital Signage. The primary functions of a typical signage are to give information and to aid direction. In addition, this book presents the design and construction of low cost Solar Charge Controller in a 2kVA solar electrification. A solar electrification is a renewable means of meeting electrical energy needs. The Solar Charge Controller (SCC) is used to protect the battery from high current adverse effect on the battery. Such effects are usually cumulative in nature as they reduce the life span of the battery (secondary battery). Also, the Solar Charge Controller helps to display the connected battery charge level. The charge level may be given in terms of percentage as the case may be.
